‘The Elephant King’, kid gift for Nowruz

Animated film ‘The Elephant King’ is a great pick for kids fit into Nowruz screening schedule of Iranian cinemas.

The kids flick directed by Hadi Mohammadian has been screened in Iraq and Jordan before.

Set in Africa, the animated film narrates the story of an elephant who rules over its group like a king.

The queen bears him a son and everybody expects the son to replace his father as heir to the throne. The clumsy baby elephant, however, disappoints them all with its clumsy and incredible propensity, causing destruction and sabotage for the group.

The Elephant King' is slated to be screened at remote Iranian cities.

The film will be screened in small Iranian cities in cooperation with Iran-based Ammar Popular Film Festival.
